Summer student/intern information

We strongly recommend you apply through the Stanford high school research summer programs. We get a number of applicants through this route, making it unlikely for us to accept any individual students from outside these programs.

We accept students through the Stanford Summer Research Program/Amgen Scholars Program.

We generally do not have openings for summer internships for foreign college or medical students. Exceptions might be made for applicants with fellowship funding and a track-record of publications in biomedical informatics.

We do not have research openings for volunteers, even if unpaid.
